This AM’s workout fit!!! And a little fitness tip 🫶🏻👏🏻 I get asked often in DMs for tips to find “motivation” to workout early! my biggest tip for waking up early to get in a 5am workout: when you want to snooze that alarm, envision your FUTURE self! For example, this morning, when the 4:45 alarm was screaming at me 😆, I slapped it off SO fast… and then I laid there and pictured my future self — I knew I had a lot of work due today, so a workout would have to wait until 8pm and more than likely, I’d probably push it off until tomorrow (because night workouts suck, let’s be real) and then I’d go to bed regretting the fact that I didn’t move my body. I also thought about how much more energized I am throughout the day when I get in my workout! And I LOVE that feeling. I reminded myself how much better I sleep when I workout, too. And I knew future me would be happier all day today (hello endorphins!), more energized for mom life & work, AND not have restless sleep tonight. Maybe I sound crazy 🤪 BUT TRY IT! It totally works for me.
