So…this @maybelline matte is giving high class and five star. Argue with someone else.

Maybelline sent me these five shades to try and honestly they matched me really well. I’m a true matte connoisseur; I remember being excited when they became popular. My reds and hot pinks are always matte, so it was fun stepping into softer tones that go from everyday polished to all night energy.

Watch until the end for matte tips and tell me which shade is your favorite!

Extra matte tips to make it last and look smooth:
1. Start moisturizing your lips at least 30 minutes before application
2. Lightly exfoliate to remove dry skin before applying matte formulas
3. Apply in thin layers and let each layer set before adding more
4. Blot with a napkin between lips to help it set faster
5. For removal use a makeup remover wipe first, then finish with an oil based cleanser

I’m moving out of survival mode into thriving mode this year so that may mean my hair might not get done on time, but it will get done 🙌🏾😆.

Moving with ease, edges, and thick hair all year by keeping my routine similar and good products on board. I’m also going to stick to deep conditioning (not in the living room though) and quarterly trims 🤞🏾.
