Soaking up the last days of summer with my kiddos - hitting up our favorite lunch spot + playground. For the outfit I’m trying to wear at least 1 item that I have never worn or haven’t in a long time. Today’s items is this striped @madewell top I got on sale a few months back. I wasn’t sure about it as I didn’t like how my arms looked but I’m throwing that shit out the window and I’m loving it! Let go of the self criticism + cringe! It feels so liberating to film an outfit video and dance in the streets… and then a giant truck filled with a bunch of men pulls up right where I’m filming and I lose my mojo 😂

But a few months ago I couldn’t even imagine filming in public if there was a chance someone would see me! With each video I feel myself let go a little bit more and it feels so good. Who cares if someone thinks I’m cringe. I’m having fun, and that’s all that matters.

Do these prints “go” together, probably not, but does it work, I think so! I love pattern clashing and trying different combinations that I might not normally gravitate towards. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. But I always have fun doing it! And definitely feeling like my most authentic self in this outfit.
