17. The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas :: 7.5/10⭐️. This romance follows Catalina Martín, a successful business women, who has been single since her last boyfriend broke her heart and her world. Her sisters wedding in Spain is coming up and if Lina goes without a date, her family will never let her live it down. Enter Aaron Blackford- arch nemesis and her soon to be boss. The two come to a deal part of which brings Aaron with Lina to Spain. What happens in Spain will change her life! I just could not get thru this book. It was so long, almost 500 pages, and so drawn out with unnecessary detail. It was very reminiscent of The Hating Game. The story was cute and I did like the ending, but it was just too much. I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re die hard romance fan and you have a lot of time on your hands. I was expecting a lot more considering its high rating.

18. Slammed by Colleen Hoover :: 10/10⭐️. YES YES YES!!! Colleen Hoover has an amazing way about writing difficult/heavy topics, and this book did not disappoint! Layken Cohen, Lake for short, just moved from Texas to Michigan with her mom and brother following the unexpected death of her father. On her first day in her new state, her neighbor, 21 year old Will Cooper offers help with their moving boxes. Wills brother, Caulder and Lakes neither, Kel, become fast friends. But soon after Lake and Will meet they realize something that could put their entire relationship in jeopardy. Lake also has to learn to navigate her new life and grief and all the emotions she’s feeling. I don’t want to give too much away, but this book was amazing. Especially if you’re going thru grief. This coming from someone who hates books about grief. This was so well written and I could see it being very comforting. This book was the first in a 3 part series, and I can’t wait to read the next one!

19. Point of Retreat by Colleen Hoover :: 9.5/10⭐️. The second book in the slammed series comes from Wills point of view, about a year after the first book, and delves deeper into Will and Laykens relationship. This book has no short supply of drama and nail biting moments! Just when you think everything is working out, BAM! Something else happens! It’s such a sweet book, and I really enjoyed it! So far i’ve read both books in 3 days- if that’s any indication!

20. Maybe someday by Colleen Hoover :: 9/10⭐️. This book has it’s own freaking soundtrack! Sydney is a girl who is stable in her life, and with her boyfriend. She loves that her apartment balcony offers her free concerts every night by the guy, Ridge, across the way whom she befriends. Everything’s going smoothly … That is until she finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her with her best friend. Sydney finds herself now moving into Ridges apartment with his 2 roommates. Sydney helps him write lyrics to his songs, and feelings start to develop. But there are things in Ridges life that Sydney doesn’t know about. I shall say no more, but in true CoHo fashion, she sure pulls at all the heartstrings! Once again a beautifully written story about love, heartbreak, and music. Highly recommend!

21. 9/10⭐️. This Novella is the second installment in the Maybe Someday series and it follows Warren and Bridgette’s story. This book was so sweet, spicy, but really sweet! We get to see why those characters are the way they are, in just over 100 pages!

22. This book is the third and final installment in the Maybe Someday Series. It wrapped it up nicely and did not have the ending I was expecting. This book is written from the point of view of Maggie, Ridge, Sydney, and one character we meet in this book. There is a very conspicuous reference to another book/series in this book which was fun. If you read this book and you caught it, let me know! It was overall a cute book, not as action filled as some of her other books, but still a good read!

23. The Wives by Tarryn Fisher :: 9.5/10⭐️. What a roller coaster of a book! Thursday shares her husband, Seth, with two other women. Women she does not know, has never met, and doesn’t know anything about. Thursday finds out something about one of the wives, which sends her on a wild goose chance searching for answers, but what she finds.. well you’ll just have to read to see! Talk about a psychological thriller.. kind of gave me BA Paris’ The Breakdown vibes. It didn’t end the way I thought it would, and I highly recommend!!
