40. The Takeover by T.L. Swan :: 5/5⭐️ omg I loved this book! The second installment in the Miles High Club series focuses on Jameson’s brother, Tristan Miles. At a meeting where Claire Anderson is about to lose her late husband’s company to Miles Media, she meets Tristan Miles and to her shock and surprise, he calls her for a date a few days later. Their connection is undeniable. But Claire knows it’s just physical. Tristan has another idea about the status of their relationship though. After meeting her 3 sons, and their tricks, what does he think?? The banter was funny and sweet and I just loved this book so much! I fell in love with the characters and the storyline was perfect! I even teared up a bit at the end. It was definitely spicier than the first book, but not over the top.
