40. No Exit by Taylor Adams :: 9.5/10⭐️. Ok wow! Talk about a thriller! Darby Thorne is an art student at CU Boulder and she has just received news that her mother is dying of cancer. She races home to Utah in the middle of the biggest snow storm of the year, which just so happens to be on the day before Christmas Eve. Unable to drive any further, she stops at a rest stop in the middle of nowhere, where she meets 4 other strangers. When attempting to get service on her almost dead cell phone, she discovers something that changes the entire course of the night. This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time- literally from chapter 1! I would have probably read it in 1 sitting if I had the time! It was a little gory, but I still highly recommend it, especially if you like heart racing, edge of your seat, can’t put it down thrillers!
