77. One perfect couple by Ruth Ware :: 4.5/5⭐️ Lyla and Nico sign up to be on a game show called One Perfect Couple which marries Love Island and the Perfect Match. But when they get to the island in the south Pacific and a storm overtakes them, they are forced to fend for themselves until the crew come back. But how long will that be, will help actually arrive, and who are they left with!? This novel, although it started out a little slow, sucked me in and I needed to find out what happened and how it ended! This definitely has some anxiety inducing moments (a la Gravity w Sandra Bullock) and was definitely a psychological thriller in every sense of the word. But I really enjoyed this book and highly recommended!

75. The Sixth Wedding by Elin Hilderbrand :: 3.5/5⭐️ Cooper brings everyone back to Nantucket to replay their original gathering decades earlier. It picks up where 28 Summers leaves off, following the same group of friends and some of their kids. I listened to this in the Endless Summer compilation. While it was cute. I didn’t like the ending. At all.

74. This Summer will be Different by Carley Fortune :: 3.75/5⭐️ Lucy is called to Prince Edward Island by her best friend, Bridget, who is about to be married. Something is up, but Lucy could never turn down her bff. When she gets to the island she is greeted by her old flame, and Bridget’s brother, Felix. The chemistry is apparent, but they have to keep it a secret from everyone. Bridget has her own secrets too. Can Felix and Lucy make this relationship work? Is it even a relationship?? I love Carley Fortunes writing style and that the endings are never what I expect, this book is no different. While I did find it slightly slow at some points, it was still a great read. I don’t think much will top Every Summer After!

73. Flowers in the Attic by V.C. Andrews :: 5/5⭐️ Cathy, Christopher, and the twins Carrie and Cory are living their best lives with their parents until one day their father dies. Left without any money, their mother takes them to live with their grandparents. The catch is that the children must remain hidden because their grandparents do not approve of them. This gothic horror tells of the children’s life stuck behind a locked door and all they had to endure from their evil grandmother. HOLY COW. This book was intense but SO good. trigger warnings galore, but worth the read! The last 30% had me gasping so much. Can’t wait to read the next 3 books in the series!

72. The Last House Guest by Megan Miranda :: 4/5⭐️ Sadie Loman is dead, and there is a lot of speculation around a party that took place the night she died. Her best friend Avery Greer is devastated, but she has a feeling there are more than a few people in town who think she is somehow behind her death. Avery tries to find out what really happened and clear her name before it’s too late. The ending of tucks book was REALLY good and not what I was expecting! The beginning was a little slow for me, but the ending made up for it. Definitely recommend!

71. I know who you are by Alice Feeney :: 4.25/5⭐️ Dual timelines tell a story of a little girl who ran away and was held by bad people and an actress whose husband has gone missing. Aimee Sinclair has a stalker who keeps sending postcards with just 5 letters printed on them “I know who you are”, so when her husband goes missing, she suggests it was the stalker who was behind it. But the police think she hiding something - she is, but she certainly can’t tell them the truth! Well this didn’t end at alll how I was expecting! What a twist! In true Alice Feeney fashion, this book had me guessing until the very end!

70. The identicals by Elin Hilderbrand :: 4/5⭐️ identical twins Tabitha and Harper live separately, one on Martha’s Vineyard, one in Nantucket. Miles separate them, but they might as well be worlds apart. they haven’t spoken in years, but when their father dies, they are forced to see each other again, and their sibling rivalry is still what it was years ago, but can their forced reunion rekindle the bond they once had? I love Elin Hilderbrands writing style, she just makes you feel like you’re living in the book! I loved the progression of the twins relationship, between each other and the other close characters. Definitely recommend!

69. Funny Story by Emily Henry :: 4/5⭐️ Daphne and her fiance broke up because he fell in love with his high school best friend, who also broke her boyfriend, Miles’, heart. Daphne moves in with Miles because she has no where to go. One day Daphne accidentally lets out that she and Miles are dating when they actually aren’t. In order to keep the charade up, they start pretend dating, but there’s no way their feelings go any frother then that, right..? This was a cute book. I kind of felt like it had a slow start, but I loved the ending! Not my favorite Emily Henry book, but still worth the read!

68. The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams :: 4/5⭐️ Esme was born into words. She spends her days at the Scriptorium where the first dictionary is being created. When the word “bondmaid” falls to the floor, Esme picks it up and keeps it in a box. Soon she collects other discarded words and creates her own dictionary, “the dictionary of lost words”. This book was set at the turn of the century in the 1900s at the height of the women’s suffrage movement and World War 1. This is a book you’ll love if you liked the lost apothecary, and the Invisible life of Addie LaRue. Overall a good story, and an interesting glimpse into the origin of the dictionary!

67. Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross:: 4.5/5⭐️ the second and final installment of the Divine Rivals Series picks up right where its predecessor left off. Roman is missing, but doesn’t remember anything about his old life. Can he and Iris find each other and Roman’s memories? I realllyyy enjoyed this book! It was action packed and really held my attention! I got wrapped into the story and felt for the characters! I love Roman and Iris’s story, I just wish there were more books to read!

66. These Silent Woods by Kimi Cunningham Grant :: 4.25/5⭐️ Cooper and his young daughter, Finch live in the woods, off grid, in a cabin owned by Coopers friend. They never leave for fear of being spotted. Cooper has a lot to hide. But when they spot a young girl with a camera a little too close to home, it sets into motion a whole chain of events that changes everything. Read in a quiet tone that begs the listener to keep rapt attention, this book will have you leaning on every word trying to figure out where the story is going! It was such a good story. I do feel like the ending wrapped a little quickly, and I still wanted to know what happened with a few things, but overall amazing book, especially on audio.

65. Crown of Midnight by Sarah J Maas :: 3.75/5⭐️ the second book in the throne of glass series and I liked this one better than the first. Celaena Sardothian works as a vigilante for the king, but she’s hiding a secret from him, and secret that will lead to relationships forming and falling apart. Although this book held my interest more than book 1, I still found myself drifting from time to time. The ending was so good! Excited to see what book 3 brings!

64. Romantic comedy by Curtis Sittenfeld :: 3.75/5⭐️ Sally is a comedy writer for a popular live late night show. When Noah Brewster is the musical guest, she swoons over him like all the other people, both cast and audience members. Plagued with the notion that “beautiful people” can’t date average people - aka, the Danny Horst Rule- Sally knows there no chance of her wooing leading to anything at all. Fast forward to March 2020 when the world shuts down, Sally and Noah become email penpals. What comes out of this digital relationship? You’ll just have to read and see! I will say, if you don’t want to hear about covid and quarantine and masks etc. avoid this book, it plays a HUGE, important role in the last half of this book. That being said, it was really cute! I did however hate that the book is literally 3 chapters long. I listened on audio, so it wasn’t that bad, but i wouldn’t have liked it if I read it.

63. Forever Interrupted by Taylor Jenkins Reid :: 4/5⭐️. This one’s a tear jerker, but not in a way I expected. In May Elsie and Ben elope. Nine days later, Ben dies. Elsie doesn’t have the best relationship with her parents. And Ben’s dad died, leaving only his mom. Imagine Ben’s mom’s surprise when she meets her new daughter in law for the first time at the hospital to mourn her son. This book goes through all of the stages of grief, by also shadowing the relationship that led to their elopement. It was so incredibly heartwarming and I love the dynamic of all of the different relationships between the characters. It didn’t have the ending that I was expecting! If you don’t mind books about grief you’ll love this one!

62. Everyone here is Lying by Shari Lapena :: 4/5⭐️. William Wooler is having an affair, and it just ended badly. When he goes home and finds his daughter, Avery, unexpectedly home from school he loses his temper. Hours later when the family comes home, Avery is gone without a trace and huge manhunt ensues. Avery is somewhere and someone is lying. My review would absolutely ruin things, but I really enjoyed this book. That’s all I’ll say.

Betting on You by Lynn Painter :: 4.25/5⭐️so I accidentally read a “book for young readers” and it was actually amazing! 17 year old Bailey met Charlie a year ago when she was flying, by herself after her parents divorce, to her new home. They reconnected when they both got a job at the same place. But when Charlie insists that members of the opposite sex can not be friends, Bailey sets out to prove him wrong. They become best friends and start developing feelings for each other, obviously, but can they put their fears aside and let their love work? This sweet romance focuses heavily on divorce, families splitting up, and new partners coming into the picture. i think it could be a great read if you or someone you know is going through that. It felt a little like a coming of age story and I really enjoyed it! It did feel a bit young in the beginning, but the last half read like a regular barely-there-spice romance book. I definitely recommend, especially if your teen is looking to get into romance books! If I was younger I would have absolutely rated this higher.

59. The 6:20 Man by David Baldacci :: 3.5/5⭐️ every morning Travis Devine boards the 6:20 train from Mount Kisco to Manhattan, on his way he passes the beautiful homes of the rich and famous. As an Ex Military Man, he now works in a prestigious investment firm. One morning as he gets to work, he gets an anonymous untraceable email detailing that his coworker is dead on the 52nd floor. The police want to talk to him, but then he gets pulled into another investigation from his past. So, ive discovered that I’m not really a fan of action thrillers. While the story was good, and my favorite narrator read the story, I just wasn’t blown away. The twists at the end were good and not what I was expecting! If you’re into crime/action thrillers you’ll love this!
