Not at all what I was expecting. It’s kind of fantasy, in the sense that there is a made up world with made up creatures, but it’s also, like not fantasy, if that makes sense lol. I loved the storyline, and the whole concept of the letter exchanges, and was SO invested! I read this book so fast and now I need to read the sequel. It didn’t end the was I was expecting either! This one had my heart pounding and I was gasping and just waiting for what was coming next! Phew! Go read this book!
