Welcome to the newest WFH mom outfit in my closet. I love my James Perse sweats - they take me from preschool drop off to a day of Teams meetings (presentation ready) and then through the evening to bedtime. The New Balances are a staple for The Cabro. My prescription glasses are also sold at Nordstrom as blue light blockers. And my socks might be my favorite part of my day. Enjoy!

If you’re looking for some White Elephant Christmas gifts under $30, here are my favorites: The lamp needs no introduction if you’re a follower of The Cabro - it’s my favorite gift to give new mothers as it’s rechargeable and gives off the perfect ambient light. The Dior cuticle cream is an unexpected luxury and works really well. The Caldrea Rosewater Driftwood smells like Jo Malone in a bottle. The L’avant hand soap is plant based and the Linen scent is subtle and fresh. You can’t go wrong with Sulwhasoo serum - a bottle is sold every 10 seconds somewhere in the world. Finally, I know everyone has a water bottle they love...but does it collapse? Probably not.

My picks for holiday decor this year: Frasier Fir is a classic holiday scent, but it is also our yea round signature scent in our hallway coat closet. A magnolia wreath for your front door is a great look for most any home. Make turning off the Christmas tree a delight with a remote-control power switch. My favorite wrapping paper is brown butcher paper with velvet ribbons - such an easy way to reuse the paper year-round. If you’re feeling hesitant about having small children around flames this year, these LED lights are a great substitute. And finally, I love having seasonal cocktail napkins. These Nutcrackers are fun and festive.

I think it’s a nice gesture to bring a small token of appreciation for the host or hostess, especially during the busy holiday season. Monogrammed cocktail napkins are a delightfully unexpected, personalized gift. We own these brass toothpicks and use them whenever we make our Old Fashioneds. The Chappy Wrap is a bit of a splurge for a hostess gift, but I think it’s a nice gesture especially if you will be staying with someone during the holidays. A self-inking address stamp is a useful gift right as holiday cards are going out. The Nest Bamboo reed diffuser is a subtle scent and was gifted to me by a friend recently. I love it for our living room. And finally, my favorite rechargeable LED lamp is another gift that can be used in a variety of situations.

A few of my cozy picks for this holiday season: I found the Feus de Boi Diptique candle on a whim and love it’s subtle, smokey scent. Even my husband says he really likes it. A Kindle is a great gift for a young person or budding reader and it’s a great gift to help upgrade someone’s aging device. These socks are my new go to around the house. They are fuzzy, inexpensive, and they come with traction on the bottom. The Lands End sheets are my new recommendation whenever someone asks me about comfy sheets. And the Chappy Wrap blankets are absolutely divine. We have one for my son for preschool and it remains in great shape after many washes.

A few of my gift ideas for younger kids: I love the idea of an art box filled with washabi tape, washable tempura markers and a role of paper on the side - perfect gift for families with little ones. A subscription to HIgh Five magazine is a unique gift that keeps on giving throughout the year. The canvas indoor house is perfect for winter months when you’re stuck indoors. And when you’re not, the foldable Micro Kickboard scooter is great for outdoor fun. Finally, we will be getting our 13mo these mildew proof bath toys for her stocking!

A few of my beauty gifts for this year: Dr. Dennis Goss Alpha/Beta pads are a mini facial in a box. Sulwhasoo is my new favorite facial serum that amplifies your existing serums (a bottle is sold every 10 seconds somewhere in the world!). These reusable makeup pads are a standard in my beauty kit. Clinique’s Black Honey is making a comeback with Gen Z, though every elder millennial will tell you it never went out of style. Dior cuticle cream is both luxurious and the only thing that combats my dry cuticles. Finally, I recently got a whiff of this Sol Janeiro scent, and it is heavenly.

A few of my splurge picks for this holiday season: the La Ligne Marin drapes so nicely and comes in a variety of colorways. The Nood laser hair remover works (with consistent use) and I saw results after just a couple weeks. I’m always on the lookout for a solid travel backpack and eyed this sporty neoprene Dakota Dagne Dover in the wild while onboarding a flight. I own a version of this Alor bracelet and love how elegant and simple this is. And finally, no one makes luxury sweats like James Perse. No one.
