Can I keep it real with y’all on this Friday evening?Transition, military life, moving, can be tough.. some days are good and some days are hard. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’ve had my fair share of hard days. Trying to build community and friendships during these crazy times in our world is quite the challenge. Finding a church has pretty hard too. But as I was writing a blog post today about creating a healthy lifestyle, the last point I made was the practice of gratitude. It’s been something I have done for quite some time but in the move and transition I have fallen out of it consistently, so I’m getting my heart back on track. Five things I’m grateful for in the last 24 hours:
1. Getting to sleep in this morning
2. Seeing my family
3. The time and space for a nap this afternoon
4. My husband being a constant source of peace for me.
5. The opportunity to go to Destin for the day tomorrow because my dad has a work trip and my mom and I are tagging along. 🙌🏻
