grwm: hair wash day non-negotiables! been trying to grow my hair longer & healthier & these are are tips I’ve picked up along the way:

✨ let your hair towel dry a bit before brushing it out. it’s most delicate when it’s wet.

✨ always brush from the bottom up & be gentle. that’s the longest part of my hair wash routine.

✨ never ever ever skip the heat protectant. I apply before and after drying. also most of the products I use also protect against UV + heat damage (the detangler, etc.)

✨ weekly overnight hair mask & scalp oil. i usually do rosemary oil on my scalp & an overnight hair mask.

✨ exfoliate your scalp (post-hair mask) in the shower to remove product build up.

✨ take your vitamins!! biotin, iron, D & B complex

✨ use a silk pillowcase <<< helps so much with breakage

✨ lastly, use good products that don’t have harsh chemicals in them. do your research! good products make ALL the difference.
