Do you have a room in your house that just calms you? For me, it’s Emmie’s nursery hands down. The colors are calming but it also reminds me of the hours I’d sit in her room before she was born to fold and organize her little clothes, and the times I’d sit in the chair, picturing what her sweet face would look like.

Now I hold her as I nurse her, I kiss her goodnight before she falls asleep, and we laugh and giggle in the mirror when we’re getting ready in the morning. It’s such a beautiful little 10x12 room full of the best things in life.

Designing Emmie’s room was not a job I took lightly. I made about 5 different design birds and ordered at least 10 wallpaper samples before I decided on the final look (yes I’m a tad indecisive). I love the way it turned out and every little detail within the room. Perfect for the most perfect little one.
