What you don’t always see from me… 🤍

The evening walks with my babies because I’m trying to bond with them better on the days they choose their siblings over me. The toys all over the house that somehow never stay picked up for more than 5 minutes. The workouts when I’m exhausted but still show up. The supplements, the small changes, the baby steps toward becoming the healthiest and strongest version of myself.

I’m not chasing perfection. I just want to be an active mom who can keep up with her kids, make memories with them, and feel good doing it. One day at a time. 🫶

Also… tell me your best advice for helping kids get along: from babies to tweens 😅 What’s worked in your home? And what’s been your biggest challenge in motherhood lately? PS: my neighbor’s tree looks and smells heavenly, yet I have no clue what type of tree it is.

#notanad One thing I truly love about homeschooling is the freedom it gives our family. Learning in the sunshine, slow mornings, splash pad fun for the little ones, and making memories together along the way. Weekend fun is officially here ☀️📚💦

Chatting with my children, they asked me what it was like growing up in Romania and going to school there. The first thing that came to my mind was “the seven years at home.” 🏠

In Romania, that meant the lessons you learned from your family before the world ever taught you anything else. It wasn’t about perfect grades- it was about character, respect, and how you carry yourself.

We were taught:
• to respect elders
• to say “please” and “thank you” and always greet people properly
• to be polite and well-mannered
• to share and help others
• to speak respectfully
• to keep ourselves and our surroundings clean
• to show honesty, humility, and self-control

And if your mama didn’t teach you:
• always take your shoes off at the door
• never go to a party empty handed
• never show up unannounced
• offer food, coffee, and kindness first

…(and many more)…then people would say you didn’t have “the seven years at home.” 🇷🇴

As strict as some traditions felt growing up, I’m grateful for the values they planted in me. Now I find myself passing those same little lessons down to my own children.

Our Mother’s Day Tea Party was such a beautiful success 🌸✨ Filled with laughter, sweet moments, fellowship, and memories we’ll cherish forever.
