Monochromatic green for today’s work outfit! Even though it’s warm in SoCal, it’s always windy and chilly in South San Francisco. There’s something about creating an outfit in one color palette that exudes old money sophistication. I paired this chunky Tory Burch cableknit bug sweater with my high waisted leather pleated midi skirt. To add a pop of color, I wore my caramel colored pointy heels and tri-color chevron MCM tote!

I was physically at work for just one day and it was a rather casual meeting so I wore one of my favorite trench coats. The weather is rather fickle in SSF so I always need a layering piece! I also run cold so I layered my cashmere sweater on top of a collar shirt. This was one of my outfit formulas in college that I carried to my corporate life!

As a woman who travels often for work, having easy no fuss pieces is a must. This simple shirtdress works well not only on it’s own but also as a lightweight jacket on top of a solid foundation. A pop of color in my outfit always boosts my serotonin levels! For this week’s workwear look, I based the foundation of my outfit off my mustard coat! I wanted something that complemented yellow so I chose this mixed media brown blouse with a bow. Instead of tying it in a knot, I left it loose all day so it was similar to an undone tie or long silk scarf. To elongate my frame, I paired it with my high waisted pleated trousers.

A monochromatic blue look for a cool work day! It’s finally warm enough to wear sleeveless tops to the office again! I paired this slate grey vest that has silver buttons running down the middle with my midnight blue high waisted trousers. These are the most flattering pair of trousers I own that hug my legs in all the right places and makes my behind look a little more perky! Don’t worry, they’re still professional and do not raise any HR violations! Instead of opting for a completely monochromatic head to toe outfit, I broke it up with cognac colored accessories.

For today’s casual yet professional look, I wore the latest addition to my closet, these light washed, wide legged, cuffed denim jeans. I’m typically not a fan of cuffed pants since it makes me look shorter but with high heels, it works! My workplace is pretty laid back but I wanted to spruce this look up a little so I layered up my cashmere top with a blue and yellow tweed jacket.
