Whenever it’s cold, my travel uniform consists of leggings and a heavyweight utility coat. I wore this look for a trip I took to Florida in December. I paired my black leggings with a hooded utility coat that transforms into a cropped jacket if I split it at the horizontal zipper - talk about versatility! To add some personality and depth to my look, I wore my calf-hair loafers and chevron MCM tote!

My favorite luggage has to be the Silhouette 17 collection from Samsonite. I loved my black carry-on so much so that I purchased another one in silver! I also have the medium spinner as a check-in bag. It’s the best suitcase I have owned to date and guess what? It’s on sale! My favorite travel suitcase is this Samsonite carry-on! I love it so much that I have two - silver AND black! This was my airport look for a business trip to Palo Alto. I paired it with my ultra comfortable heeled Timberland boots, skinny black pants, a button-up sweater vest and a sheer black and white collar top. Also, I made the mistake of not bringing a puffer to Palo Alto during my previous trip so I made sure to have it with me this time!

A casual denim jeans look for a day of browsing home goods! I paired these light wash high rise fit and flare jeans with an oversized double breasted plaid blazer and my go-to combo of a cashmere sweater and collar button down. Styling can have a drastic impact on the way you present yourself to the world! I know it may not appear like it however, I feel as if I’ve been really lazy with my outfits. I don’t think I put that much effort into my looks anymore and maybe that’s a good thing! I used to be more flamboyant and my blog certainly documents that. I do prefer more minimalistic and refined pieces now which is perfectly reflected here.

I styled this white button down and light washed flare denim jeans with a black sweater vest and my camel sleeveless duster vest. I kept my accessories in the same color scheme with a black patent Lady Dior and nude pointy toe heels. Almost everything I’m wearing is still available and linked!

La Jolla Cove gets extremely busy during the weekends so I wanted to switch it up. I have nearly 40 vacation days so I took time off during the weekday to explore my own city! I went to Harumama in La Jolla and was able to snag a window seat WITHOUT A WAIT! You can only dream of that on the weekend! Sometimes all you need is a black and white outfit. I’m wearing my new white lace platform sneakers that are surprisingly lightweight. They’re the perfect white shoes for spring! Took my new sneakers out for a spin! I’ve been opting for comfort when it comes to shoes though I still do occasionally wear heels. I am pretty petite so I look for anything that can give me a boost in height. Platform sneakers tend to be heavy but these are not! I was surprised at just how lightweight these sneakers were even with the ridged rubber platform! I love the color combination and it worked perfectly with this look!

I wanted to share one of my latest favorite products: MediHeal’s Teatree Calming Moisture Ampoule.

I have combination skin where it’s oily in certain regions and dry in others. On top of that, I have sensitive, acne-prone skin. Teatree is thought to be acne-fighting so I was excited to try this out! This is highly concentrated and made with 92% Tea Tree Leaf Water to strengthen the skin barrier.

I have now integrated this scentless Teatree ampoule into my everyday routine! I feel as if it makes me skin feel more dewy, supple, and smooth. I’ve also noticed that my makeup sits much better when I use this as a base with my moisturizer!

Overall, this reduced the inflammation on my face without irritating or drying out my skin!

Just used up the 30 Montaigne candle from Dior! This was from the Dior advent calendar but I have another one that I plan on using during colder months! This candle has spicy and amber notes and is intense though truly intoxicating!

These high waisted wool trousers are one of my most comfortable bottoms! They’re actually travel pants though I do occasionally wear them to work!
