We are packing up and getting ready to head south for a short but sweet trip to attend a friends wedding. Its our first time flying with Otto and I’m not going to lie I feel a little sick to my stomach about it. The fear of the unknown right? Spring is on the brink of breaking through here in Michigan. The air is different and there are tiny buds in the trees. I am over winter and ready to welcome in the warmth. We had a day yesterday. An all day date. We woke up and answered our work emails and then ate breakfast overlooking the ocean. We beach walked and held hands. We caught up on life. We had a three hour lunch followed by wandering around

At 31 I’ve been blessed with a dad that told me to do what makes me happy. At 31 I still don’t know what that is. It’s Saturday and that means farmers markets, canning, maybe a bit of shopping, flea markets and cider! There is so much going on in the next two days I want to do it all! Today was a work day. A day of getting things done, lunch with friends and missing my little man. We snuggled up with a pizza tonight because I forgot to put the meal in the crock pot. Otto is getting yet another tooth and it's amazing how the pain and discomfort from that can change his sweet personality so quickly! Poor buddy ripped his tape off and had a big spit up which didn't help anything.
