This laundry room had a great open space but needed a functional storage solution to keep things off the ground, so adding this shelving unit and stocking it with labeled bins for grouping like things hit the mark. We're also suckers for wall-mounted utility holders as they're a perfect way to keep the floor clear and the items organized.

One way to make absolutely sure that you don't end up with a tangled mess of charging cords is to store them individually. And one way to make absolutely sure that you don't end up grabbing a different type of cord than the one that you need is to label each one. We've also taken the liberty of labeling all of the charging blocks as well because anyone with kids will tell you that these literally grow legs. Labels take all the guesswork out of a drawer like this one and we are here for it!

Who says risers are only for pantries?! We loved being able to display this sweet girl's fragrance mists so that she can easily see them all and pick the perfect scent for the day!

Can you believe that this is day two of an unpack for this client? We highly doubt anybody feels like cooking dinner at the end of a big move, but they absolutely could have if they wanted to, thanks to this organization! We always ask our clients to do a big grocery shop which may seem counter-intuitive during a move, but in order to create good systems, we need to know what is actually going to live in a space. We're firmly Team Decant. There's some upkeep but really, unless you are blowing through bags of baking or spices on a weekly basis, we promise it's not that much. The pros are many (freshness, visibility, and the pretty factor) and if you are worried about expiration dates, it's easy enough to pop a little label on the back.

One last pro tip: When restocking, empty out the older contents into a bowl, drop the new in first, and then add the older back in on top.
