When I was in Vegas last month, I shared an outfit tip that if you’re wearing a dark top + light trousers, choosing a light shoe helps avoid that “cut” effect that can visually shorten your legs.

But here’s the flip side: if you go monochrome light on top + bottom, you can absolutely ground the look with a dark shoe — it won’t break the line the same way. ✨
