Highlights:
The triangle method: styling like-things together in threes so the eye naturally moves. Colors, textures, patterns.
Use anchors on the top or bottom shelves. Larger pieces ground the space and instantly give the shelf purpose.
Layer decorative art in the back, behind the decor, to create depth and dimension. And remember! A tchotchke always has to have a partner! So put a little bowl on TOP of books.. not by itself

Highlights:
1. Easy throw pillow rule: one quiet neutral, one textured, and one patterned. That mix keeps things layered without looking busy.
2. Wood tones and wicker are the ultimate transitional staples. Think a bold braided-edge tray or a solid, heavy wooden accent table—pieces that work year-round.
3. Faux florals should match the scale of your vase (which in my option bigger the better obviously). Extra-long stems are ideal because the wired branches let you bend and vary the heights for a more natural look.

2. Empty walls aren’t unfinished—they’re breathing room. But focal walls like entryways, staircases, and dining rooms benefit from art or photos to anchor the space and make it feel complete.
3. Think of walls as part of the room, not separate from it. Repeating colors and textures creates flow. In a neutral space, loud or glitzy art can feel jarring instead of cohesive.

If there’s one thing i spend more money on when it comes to home decor is faux branches. Extra long ones are near impossible to find and these are my absolute favorites for ALL seasons. I always buy them 32” inches long or above because you can always manipulate and bend them accordingly!

We’re backkkkk! Episode 30: Post-Holiday Decorating Reset. The key here is to keep it seasonal without feeling festive. Let’s do it

Highlights:
1. Remove all the red. Pack away Santa and anything that screams Seasons Greetings. Start fresh with whites, creams, soft grays, warm woods, and neutral foundations.

2. Wood tones and wicker are your new best friend (besides me of course). They’re quiet, always in style, and transition beautifully between all seasons. Add in chunky knit throws, textured pillows— more on this later— and woven baskets filled with blankets or firewood to give that cozy feel.

3. Cant believe I’m saying this but bring nature indoors. Swap the garland and pine for long bare branches and muted greenery stems. Add natural elements like pinecones, and throw in some of those pointless decorative wood objects on top of neutral-toned coffee table books.

Walmart basics all $25 or less! Yall heard me talk about these athlete tops they are IDENTICAL to the Spanx’s Air Essentials line (which is $130 for a top) and they’re only $20. Period

Do not let bows intimidate you! This is why you have me. Here’s a step-by-step on how to tie BEYOND fabulous bows for our behind fabulous gifts 🎀

Highlights:
1. Wired ribbon. Nothing else will give us that Couture look
2. For thicker ribbons (like the plaid one here) be prepared to loose your religion at some point but if you follow my rules on not tying the knot fully then you’ll be in great shape
3. Bells, whistles, tiny mini ornaments— those are how we stand out!! Tie those into the name tag. Go around your house and cut like 10 tiny branches from the hundreds of greenery we purchased and then stick that in there as well.
