It’s the end of an era ❤️

Today I officially said goodbye to the pump, something that’s been such a huge part of my life for the past 6 years.

I nursed the boys, but still pumped for nightly bottles & trips. But when I had Nora everything changed. Severe preeclampsia, hospital complications & a postpartum season I never saw coming… & somehow, in the middle of all that, I became an exclusive pumper. I’ve logged over 250 hours (more than 15,000 minutes 😱) hooked up to that pump, doing everything I could to give my babies what they needed.

It wasn’t glamorous. It was tiring, emotional & honestly one of the hardest things I’ve done. But it was also incredibly meaningful. This chapter holds so many late nights, early mornings, tears, little victories & so much love.

We’re not planning on having more kids, so this truly is the end of a whole era for me. It’s bittersweet… closing a door on a season that stretched me, challenged me & made me proud of what my body & heart were capable of.

I still have frozen milk to carry us to her first birthday (with some formula too) & I feel grateful knowing I can close this chapter with no regrets. Just pride, gratitude & so much love for the 3 little people I did all of this for 💙💙🩷

I am 🔟 months old! I can officially crawl, but what I really think is cool right now is pulling myself to stand up. I love music & will “dance” to it (kind of like a manic fist pump) & I like to clap & wave too. I have 8 teeth & love to eat! I’ve been exploring all of my big brothers’ toys in the playroom, which has opened a whole new world for me! 💕

I am 9️⃣ months old! I found my scrunchy smile! I love cruising all over the house in my walker & pulling all the night lights out of the outlets 🙃 I can do an army crawl if I really want something, like a remote. I’m getting my 5th tooth! My favorite things are going for walks & taking a bath. I am VERY vocal & love a good scream, whether I’m excited or upset. I am 8️⃣ months old! I am getting my top front teeth (ouch!) & I had my first ever play date with other babies! I started using a walker, but I mainly use it to get to the indoor plants so I can pull all of the moss out 😜 I am very close to sitting on my own! My favorite things are eating, Ms Rachel songs, taking baths & getting attention from my parents & brothers, it immediately makes me smile so big! 💗

Another family vacation in the books! I can’t believe this is our 4th year coming here, and this time with baby Nora! 💕 She did soo good! Slept amazing and just took in all the chaos around her! And the boys were loving all of the water slides, pools, snacks, and just hotel life in general (room service, elevators & room keys! 😂) We were already saying how next year Nora will be running around trying to keep up with them 🥹 and Nico asked how many days are in a year till we come back. Trying to bottle in all these sweet moments while they’re all still little 🫶🏽

I am 3️⃣ months old! I love attention & being interacted with, and I’ve started cooing back in response! I sleep through the night & nap during most adventures including Top Golf & my first cave.
