These are the pieces I’d invest in if I were starting my wardrobe from scratch. That said, I don’t recommend tossing everything in your closet unless you’re absolutely sure you don’t love any of it. Instead, let’s build on what you already have. Start with an intentional closet clean-out. Take a look at each piece and ask yourself: 1️⃣ Would I buy this again? 2️⃣ Have I worn it in the last year? 3️⃣ Do I feel confident wearing it? 4️⃣ Can I style it multiple ways with what’s already in my closet? 5️⃣ Does it still fit well? 6️⃣ Is it still in good condition? This process will help you declutter your closet and give you a clearer understanding of the wardrobe you actually want. Once your closet is in order, you’ll be able to identify which staple pieces are missing and start filling in the gaps. These are the staples I use regularly and recommend to every woman looking to simplify her wardrobe. LTKOver40 LTKMidsize LTKStyleTip
