Our wood framed oval wall mirror shown in this video has been on serious demand but I can’t locate it anywhere. So, my bestie came to visit me in Miami from New York and helped me “spring clean” my closet. Needless to say, I have no clothes, nor shoes, or sneakers, for that matter. Lol! I cleaned out hefty bag full loads of items that we delivered for donation to charity. (Shout out to Lotus House, this is where I donate all of my home & fashion goods as they own a swanky thrift shop and sell the items to support and fund a women’s shelter).

This is my long way of saying I have been on a shopping spree lately to reload my closet, lol. I absolutely love a platform sneaker, this is probably my 4th pair that I am buying over the past couple of years. I got into them during Covid as I am 5’-4” and Love a little height. Hi ladies, I recently celebrated my 50th birthday in March 🤗💃🏽🎉 and since my huge celebration I have been spending some time reflecting on life as a midlife woman. One of the biggest changes that I have experienced is my change in my skin. My entire life, I always had oily skin and the later I got into my 40s I recognized my skin was on a drying trend. So much so, I have had to figure out what products - through trial and error - are best for now I would say be considered normal-to dry-skin, more on the dry aspect. When I was using cleansing products and moisturizers for oily skin (as I’ve done my entire life), I started to get peeling and more acne because they were designed to dry out my excessive oil. Now I have no excessive oil, LOL, and through testing loads of products, these are my absolute favorites I turn to after a long day. They have provided the best care and nourishment for my skin, all while I feel making it look more fresh and youthful.
