✨ Hello, Mario! was a fam fav: a fun, interactive board book with surprises on every page .. and both covers 📖
✨ the block set was a hit: wooden versions of 4 classic characters (yes Yoshi is one of them!) that also double as Amiibos 😱 plus other icons from the Mushroom Kingdom 🏰
✨ We tested out a few rattles: I thought Willa’s favorite was going to be the super star 🌟 but I think she liked the mushroom and the feel of the Mario lovey more 🥰
✨ Hunter gave his expert stamp of approval to the Little People playsets: jump, slide, bounce, spin - so much to do with classic sounds from the game 🎮
✨ the bath toys were probably my favorite 🛁 connect the pipes, pour with the super star, watch for pop up friends, and of course .. a few water squirters too! 🔥
✨ ..and there’s even more 🤩 pajamas, onesies, outfit sets, blankets, and a Mario plush!

My Mario is designed for ages 0-5 and is launching exclusively at Nintendo NY and Nintendo SF next week 🎉 Also launching February 19th: the Hello, Mario app where littles can interact with Mario and friends 🤗

Greetings, neighbor 🌱🥳 one of my favorite things to when planning a party is think up unique favors! Hunter’s Plants vs Zombies 2 birthday party was a tough one but I think they came out pretty good!

I usually include something personalized but this year decided to do two crafts that the kids could personalize themselves and then take home. We went with a build-your-own game board and a trip to the Zen Garden to paint your own sunflower pot - sunflower seeds included! 🪴 After they finished their pots, I filled them with a sticky, squishy peashooter pea and the sunflower seeds to grab at the end of the party. They also got to choose one building bricks zombie 🧟‍♂️ even the little littles took something home.. their very own peapod teether! 🫛

Hunter had so much fun celebrating and we can’t send enough thanks to everybody who braved the storm to help us defend the birthday lawn! 🌻☀️

braaaaiiiiiinnnnssssss 🧠 there wuz a party and there wuz zombies 🧟‍♂️ and we had the best time! Still can’t believe my baby boy turned 6 last week 🎉

I somehow managed to pull this party together in less than 3 weeks .. Hunter kept going back and forth on the theme and with the end of my pregnancy, welcoming Willa, all of the holidays… it was a crazy time! But I did it! I grabbed my cricut and art supplies and I got to work ✂️🎨

We decided to have just a few themed activities:
✨ Crazy Dave Says: our twist on Simon Says with themed prompts like walk like a zombie and stand tall like a sunflower
✨ Paint Your Own Sunflower Pot: our friends at @sharpie sent us the best creative markers to help make this craft come to life. They go on smooth and vibrant with paint-like ink and dry quickly saving me tons of mess and clean up. Plus these doubled as favors 🙌🏻
✨ Build Your Own Level: I printed out blank game boards and tonnnnsss of plant, zombie, sun, plant food, progress bar, lawn mower, etc etc stickers so the kids could create a level straight from PvZ 2!

💚 🌱 The decor was different shades of green like Crazy Dave’s lawn, giant plant and zombie cut outs, plant and zombie centerpieces, and of course we needed green checkered team plant and orange cone team zombie party hats 🥳

🌮 For food we went with the obvious… Crazy Dave’s tacos! I FINALLY got to use my @crockpot multi-meal to cook the beef and chicken at the same time but separate from each other and giving them a place to stay warm for the party! 👏🏻

🌻 The party came and went so fast but Hunter was happy which means mama was happy!

happy december 1st 🎄 I spent the day putting the kids baskets and advent calendar and christmas countdown together while Hunter was in school! oh baby 🤰🏻 less than 11 days to go - can you believe it?! I’m ready when you are girlie 🩷 I’ve been taking all the bottles and pacifiers out of their packages and getting them ready for some deep cleaning!
