Balance colors and neutrals, books and items. Go for “less is more” or “more is more”. And - if you have “less pretty” items that need to be within arm’s reach, remember that baskets are your friend (mine are from IKEA and used to store my old DVDs and board games!). 💖

Keeping my color-treated red hair vibrant isn’t easy - I recently discovered these products which are made with color-treated hair in mind and - after using them for a few months - I am OBSESSED.

Every time I wash my hair, I use step 1 (shampoo) and step 2 (conditioner) in the shower, and then I run a quarter-sized amount of step 3 (serum) in my hair after I get out of the shower. In between washes, I apply the step 3 serum to the ends to keep them moisturized. Once a week, I’ll use the mask before washing as usual. Result: hydrated, vibrant hair!

A bit about my beauty routine and how I use these skincare products:

C E Ferulic: serum, apply in morning. I have used this product for nearly 2 years and I can definitely see the difference in my skin! There’s a reason why this is SkinCeutical’s best-selling product.

Resveratrol: serum, use at night.

Triple Lipid: moisturizer, I use only at night but you can use twice daily. Use another moisturizer on top, especially if you have dry skin.

Blemish + Age Defense: serum, apply at night (apply before the Resveratrol).

Cleansers: I’ve used each of these cleansers at one point or another. They all target different skin issues while remaining relatively gentle (great for my sensitive skin). Lately I’ve been using the Gentle Cleanser as my skin has been really dry and extra-sensitive this summer.

I’m back from a wonderful whirlwind 36-hour-long trip to NOLA! ✈️ My friend and I were in town to celebrate the start of the Mardi Gras season - we were invited to the #knightsofsparta krewe’s famous bal masque... and we were there as guests of the King!!! 🤴🏻 It was such a lovely evening and I was so thankful to have been invited (I was my friend’s +1 and we were there, dancing and celebrating, till the very end of the evening). 🎉
