But this is why this outfit actually works today: First, I got this pleated trouser hemmed to my height, so the cut righttttt at the top of my loafers continues that long line to the bottom of the leg! Second, the waist tie helps define the waist and draws the attention of the outfit up instead of down with the oversized jacket. And lastly? The high contrast of the white shirt is perfectttttt for cutting those dark colors and again, drawing the attention upwards! 🖤 these elements combined is 100%, 5’2 approved! 🫶🏼

Ad. You aren’t imaging it! When I heard that @spanx was making wardrobe essentials, I did a double take 🙉. But then I tried on the ponte tailored pant and honestly? I was shocked! The fabric is the most soft and comfortable out of ALL the tailored pants I’ve ever tried. Sabrina’s 5’0 jort outfit vs my 5’2 frame, who styled it better? 🤍 while Sabrina’s choice of jorts, open shirt, and knee high boots give her pop star energy, i feel that these elements work together to enhance her petite frame. My style however, is making a short girl look taller! Which is why I swapped out those jorts for straight leg jeans and neatly tucked in the white shirt at the waist. This fix creates one long silhouette with the white monochrome styling, that easily adds inches to my short height!
