Getting our upstairs bedrooms ready today for our moms to visit for Mothers Day! They get to spend a few days with us meeting our doctor, going to my Texas baby shower and helping me get baby’s room ready 🥰
For years I spent every Mother’s Day getting our home ready to host a brunch for our families and crying.. wondering if I would ever become a mom and feeling guilty for feeling this way when I should be celebrating our mom’s who are so amazing not making it about myself. Last year I finally felt at peace. I accepted whatever life God wanted for me and grateful for my amazing mother and mother in law. I think that acceptance was something I needed before becoming a mom myself… along with a lot of other things God put into our life before this little one comes. This Mother’s Day I am filled with so much gratitude and my tears will be happy ones for God’s love and answered prayers. No matter where you are in life God is listening and know his timing is everything 🙏🏻🙏🏻
