I thought God was going to ask me to quit Instagram. I’d made it too important — what started as a hobby that brought me joy became another thing to hustle after. But when I finally brought it to Jesus, I was surprised. He didn’t say, “Give it up.” (I fully expected Him to) He said, “Just do it different.” And different, for me, is still in its early stages. Right now, it looks like: • setting boundaries • rewriting my “why” • showing up to share, not impress • not letting an a follower or like count decide my mood And the more I sat with it, the more I realized — this was never just about Instagram. It’s about how quickly we cling too tightly to good things. Our kids. Our marriages. Our jobs. Even food. Not everything needs to be quit. Some things can’t — and shouldn’t — be. But a lot of things? They just need to be surrendered. Daily. Maybe you don’t need to quit. (Or maybe you do — that’s between you and God.) But maybe… you just need to loosen your grip christianmom christianlifestyle spiritualdiscipline christianmomlife
