Good morning! I ended up taking an unexpected day off social media yesterday. My camera for some reason wouldn’t work. It was just black whether I wanted to take a photo or video. So I don’t know why that triggered me not being on social media, but it did and it was lovely. I highly recommend doing that from time to time. Making the kids lunches now and very thankful that I’m allowed to wear a hat to work because this morning was rough getting out of bed.

Little things I heard from my mom friends that completely changed the way I parent as a working mom of 3 👇

1️⃣ Pick your win. Some days are just full. That’s not the day to meal prep, do a learning activity, prep a big meeting, and have a date night. Pick your win and lower the bar everywhere else.

2️⃣ Habit stack. I fold laundry during bath time. They play. I get one less thing on my list before bedtime.

3️⃣ Pick a lunch + snack formula. For me: two pre-packaged snacks, two fresh (fruit or veggie). M/W = mac & cheese. T/Th = sandwich with avocado mash. No more daily overthinking.

4️⃣ Slow Morning Saturday. 30 minutes of TV for them = hot coffee, a quiet Bible moment, and a mom who’s not running on fumes.

5️⃣ One load rule. One load of laundry—start to finish—each day. No mountains, no overwhelm.
Motherhood isn’t about balance. It’s about building rhythms that make the hard days lighter. 🫶🏻
