My baby favorites for the first 4 weeks of life! Breaking down each item and why I think they are ESSENTIALS! 1. Comotomo Bottles—we exclusively breastfeed but introduced the bottle at week 3. This bottle has a wide neck and silicone body that imitates the breast. He loved them right away. They are also great for gas as they limit the air bubbles with the double vents at the top. 2. Wabi Sterilizer— I use this thing probably 3 times a day. It’s incredible. Not only does it sterilize but it also drys! One of the few sterilizers on the market that does both. Limiting the need for drying racks all over your countertops and wet bottles sitting out all day collecting germs. A lot of people complain that this is a pain because it requires distilled water... I don’t find that. I just have a jug stored under my counter and bring it out to fill it up. It’s been 6 weeks and I’m still using the same jug with over half left. I stick everything in here. Pump parts, my Hakka, bottles and pacifiers. 10/10 recommend. 3. Boppy head support— HE loves this thing. I don’t know if it’s because it gives him extra cushion on his head and helps him feel more comfortable or what. But my kid loves this pillow. So much that we have 3 now. One on his changing table, one we use at playtime on the floor, and one in his swing. He loves it and it prevents flat head so it’s a win win. I linked the ones we have from pottery barn, it’s a softer fabric than the ones found on amazon. 4. Halo Sleepsack Swaddle— the first few days home we tried the traditional muslin cloth swaddling. It was a disaster in the middle of the night. These just make it easy and really calm his startle reflexes for a much better sleep. The Velcro is loud... the only downfall. 5. Uppababy Mesa Car seat— again, my kid loves this thing haha. He instantly falls asleep when we put him in it. He’s a big boy and it’s spacious and comfortable. We have the color Bryce, it’s a marl grey. The fabric is top notch and very soft to his skin.
