Dressing to feel comfortable in my new, postpartum body. Thanks to @cereslife for gifting me these mum-friendly fits. Here’s some words about my PP body feelings 👇🏻

It’s easy to let the negative thoughts take over when you look in the mirror and see something different to what you’re previously used to. This time round, I feel far better within myself than I did after Tallulah, but the lack of confidence is still there. Every day, I try to remind myself how amazing my body is - it grew a human and is now keeping it alive solely by breast feeding.

My tips for feeling confident in your post-baby body are:
⭐️ Buy new clothes that fit your new body - you don’t have to spend a lot of money; check out Depop, op shops or places like Target and Big W. Purchase some core items that can mix and match as part of a little capsule wardrobe
⭐️ Continuing from the above point, screw what the size on the tag says!!!!
⭐️ Supportive underwear 🙌🏼
⭐️ Pack your old clothes away in storage. You don’t need a constant reminder of what you can’t wear. These may fit you again one day and you can whip them back out, but if not, they’re out of sight and out of mind
⭐️ Washing your hair and chucking some fake tan and makeup on will make you feel a million bucks. No notes!

Most importantly, I want to make sure I’m championing body positivity for my daughter. She may only be (almost) 3, but she’s such a sponge and I know the way I speak about myself and my body will rub off on her. Sometimes you just gotta fake the confidence until you make it, and soon it might actually start to come naturally. No toxic positivity here, just sharing some thoughts and my experience in the hope it can help others 🫶🏼🫶🏼
