At 4’11”, I don’t need fewer layers. I need layers with better proportions. 🍂👇 One of the biggest misconceptions about petite dressing is that we have to avoid longer coats, wide-leg denim or anything with volume. I disagree. I pay much more attention to where things end and how the proportions work together. A few fit notes from this try-on: ✨ The cotton-cashmere mini dress hits beautifully on my 4’11” frame without needing a petite size. ✨ The Bella wide-leg jeans come in a 24” short inseam 🙌 ✨ Both coats from @Quince have shorter silhouettes that give me the fall layering look I want without feeling like I’m drowning in fabric. One petite caveat: the coats are NOT technically petite, so the sleeves are long on me. I simply turn them under — because there’s no cuff detailing, it’s an incredibly easy adjustment. And that’s exactly why I’m always saying: don’t shop by the label alone. Shop the proportions. Which would you wear first — the trench or the wool coat? petitestyle petitefashion ltk quincepartner LTKPetite LTKOver40 LTKSeasonal
