The curtains I have in every space in our home and 4 little things I have learned along the way!

1. Hang your rod high, almost to the ceiling. It draws the eye up and makes the whole room feel taller and more airy.
2. Go wide with your rod so the panels sit off the glass when open. More light comes in and your windows look bigger.
3. Always size up on length. Curtains that kiss the floor or pool just slightly feel so much softer than ones that stop short.
4. Choose a light filtering fabric with a little texture. You keep your privacy without losing that soft glow, and linen brings the warmth every time.

Do:
- Layer natural textures (linen, jute, wood, stone)
- Keep it warm neutral (cream, oat, terracotta, sage)
- Add dried stems (wheat, pampas grass, eucalyptus, branches) or earth toned floral + leaves
- Light some tapers

Don’t:
- Cheapo plastic stems in neon orange
- Plaid on everything
- Matchy sets straight from the box
- Overcrowd it
- Anything glossy or synthetic
