CROCKTOBER DAY 2 🍂 Crockpot Whole Chicken! This is one of the EASIEST dinners I make. It takes about 10 minutes to prep, you don’t add any liquid, and the chicken comes out so juicy and tender. Save this one! 👇🏼 INGREDIENTS: • 1 whole chicken (about 4 lbs) • 1 lemon, halved • 1 head of garlic, halved DRY RUB: • 2 tsp salt • 1 tsp onion powder • 1 tsp lemon pepper • 1 tsp paprika • 1 tsp black pepper • 1 tsp thyme Pat chicken dry. Mix the dry rub and season the chicken all over, including under the wings and a little inside the cavity. Squeeze a little lemon juice inside, then stuff with the lemon halves + garlic. Place chicken breast-side DOWN in your Crockpot. DO NOT add liquid! It makes its own delicious juices as it cooks. Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours, or until the thickest part reaches 165°F. That’s it! 🙌🏼 Perfect for an easy dinner AND the leftovers are so good for meal prep. Crocktober CrockpotRecipes SlowCookerRecipes EasyDinner EasyDinnerIdeas LTKfoodie LTKSeasonal LTKHome
