These madewell cropped wide leg jeans are so good! SIZING: if you don’t have a booty get the regular and go true to size. If you have a booty and struggle with waist gap, size down and get the “curvy”. I’m 5’4” I got the curvy and sized down :) IGNORE THE WEBSITE PHOTOS the length on both curvy and regular are the same: 27” crops.

This Quince cotton slub tee is perfect for layering or wearing alone! It’s 100% organic cotton and I love it layered under my vest. It pops out just enough, it’s not tight on your arm and the neckline is perfect for that added pop under a crewneck sweater. It’s also thin enough to tuck! I also love the more fitted tee that has 5% elastane. It’s more fitted around the arms and waist making it a great piece to layer or wear alone as well.

Cleanse and I always start with La Mer original cream around my eyes for my eczema as a barrier and for calming inflammation (been doing it for 15 years!) then Essence, snail mucin, vitamin c, moisturizer all over when needed (in the summer I sometimes skip and go straight to sunscreen) and sunscreen

How I wash my African Net Sponge! Rinse, squeeze out the water then hang dry when you’re done showering. For weekly washing I put it in a washing bag on delicate with hot water then hang to dry! You can also hand wash with vinegar and hot water! Also reminder: do not use this to clean down there 😂

For body cleansing, I first use a washcloth and Dove, then rinse. Then I use this African net sponge!
No, this is NOT a loofah. This doesn’t absorb moisture but still creates a great lather even with the tiny amount of soap. You have to make sure you get the authentic one with the tiny knots. Those knots exfoliate your skin SO well! Also do not use it down there!

There’s an exhaustive list experts say we can do during peri/menopause and I was getting frustrated as I learned more, but then I asked myself, “What if?”

What if I stopped being cynical and tried some of these recommendations over the next six months? Here’s what I’ve committed to trying (and it’s a lot but I’m staying curious!)

- electrolytes (I like @drinkLMNT citrus salt- tastes like a margarita!) to replace lost minerals from night sweats and aid in cognitive function and fatigue LMNT + plenty of water
- collagen
- Stick with my supplements (nutrafol, seed, NAD, C, D, Magnesium glycinate, omegas, zinc)
- Move my body and get 10k steps/day
- Weights + weighted vest to build muscle and combat age induced injury
- 100g of protein a day to fight muscle loss as I age
- 30g fiber to bind excess estrogen in the gut and alleviate peri symptoms
- Continuing my MHT (HRT)
- Work on sleep

TIP: I prep my LMNT in a huge 40 oz tumbler to take my pm supplements after dinner, then leave it next to my bed so I remember to take my am supplements with the remaining water.

My skin routine for when I need my skin to look really good for an event or pictures! I also ice my skin after the lymphatic drainage- forgot to show that :) Does anyone else feel like after 40, you suddenly don’t know what you might look like when you wake up from day to day? I do t know what I’m gonna wake up to. 😂 This guarantees that even after a night of crying or lack of sleep I will feel good about my skin that day.
