My every day coffee spot! 👆🏼 Before I moved to New York, I wanted an apartment designed exactly how this one is: traditional with touches of modern. It’s been in my head for three years but the style of our last place didn’t lend itself to that style so it’s all coming out now! It’s been SO fun and really rewarding to finally nail down my style, which has taken 5 years by the way. All of this to say, if I could give ONE piece of design advice it is to buy what you like. I never did! I bought what felt safe and what I knew a lot of other people had so that it was easy. And if what you love isn’t safe, It will still work because you love it. Oh also, don’t settle for anything. If you don’t love it right away it probably won’t grow on you, send that baby back!
