I’ve created a monster. We took the kids out to eat at a restaurant last night (something we’ve rarely done since Covid started) and got two kid-size brownie sundaes to share for dessert. Which were actually pretty big. So Chris and Henrik shared one and I tried to share with Piper, but girl was not having it. Every time I took a nibble, she turned to me and said “That’s enough!!”. Then she slowly started scooting the bowl further and further away from me until she was huddled up in the corner of our booth and had the sundae up against the wall all to herself. Finally we told her to take a last bite before we loaded up to go home and she took the biggest bite of brownie and ice cream that was easily 3x the size of her mouth. Half of it fell off her spoon when she tried to eat it so then she quickly scooped it up with her hands and shoved it in her mouth. Women in my family are known for not exactly being keen on sharing desserts and it looks like Piper will be carrying on the family tradition 🎉 P.S. The dress I’m wearing is $52 and comes in several other colors! It runs a smidge small so I sized up to a medium.
