Mother’s Day Weekend has me all in my feels! It’s my very first time I get to celebrate as a mama! 💗 I keep reflecting on those precious moments after her birth in the hospital. Everything changed the moment she was born and I left that hospital a different woman, in the best way. 💗

I’m so glad I packed things to make me feel comfortable. My top advice - don’t go crazy and overpack! The hospital provides a lot and you really don’t need much! There are some items though that I felt were great to have. For all you soon-to-be mamas out there, make sure you invest in a comfy robe and slippers! I’ve linked the things I wore and used that I needed or just made me feel “normal,” including items Woodslyn needed. If you have any questions, send them my way! I love to chat about it and encourage others! Motherhood is a beautiful challenge and so rewarding. The love I have for my Woodslyn girl is indescribable.

36 weeks and some days ... little late posting! Thursday we had a great checkup! We’ll be meeting our little rainbow baby really soon! 😍 She’s somewhere between 6 - 6 lbs 10 ounces - that’s something like three Dozen Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. I can’t eat doughnuts... but I will be able to soon! 🤪🍩🤤.... What I can eat is fish! So we decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day early by a delicious dinner at Jonah’s in Thomasville. 🐟 Couldn’t let a successful appointment pass without a full blown photoshoot so here’s me and the bump at 36 weeks. Side note* I started on Progessence Plus - a young living progesterone oil, a couple of months before finding out I was pregnant. I truly believe this oil aided in getting pregnant the first time trying again and a “sticky baby”. Within the first few weeks of pregnancy I found out I was deficient in Vitamin D. I pulled back out the book I linked and HIGHLY recommend, It Starts with the Egg, and realized how important Vitamin D is in pregnancy. I have remained on Vitamin D3 my entire pregnancy and will continue to afterwards. I like to share this info with any one trying to get pregnant or who is already pregnant because sometimes our prenatals are not enough. My last little thing I want to say, ADVOCATE for your pregnancy. I requested certain things to be looked at and am SOO glad I did. If you ever want to talk about miscarriage, I am an open book. My story is meant to help others. It’s been a journey... but we are almost there. 2-3 more weeks left!

35 weeks carrying my Woodslyn 🖤
I’ve been washing the sweetest laundry, putting final touches on the nursery, and trying to wrap my mind around the idea of baby girl being here in the next 3-ish weeks. In some ways I feel like I’ve been pregnant for a long time and then sometimes, I feel like it just began. Last night was date night and we got dressed up. We had a great time and laughed so much!! I’m soaking up all the minutes of it just being us two still. Ahhh... all the emotions!! I linked my outfit - My skirt is maternity and only $7!!! Craig came in last night and said what smells so good?! - It was a blend of Patchouli, Northern Lights Black Spruce, and White Angelica. I had the diffuser on full blast last night diffusing some of my favorite emotional support oils.
