The NYX Blurscreen SPF 30 Primer caught my attention because it combines two steps in one: primer and SPF.

I liked that it helped blur my pores and gave my makeup something to grip onto. But with my oily skin, it ended up making me look a little shinier than I wanted, even with matte foundation and powder.

My makeup also didn’t seem to last as long as it normally does with my matte primer.

I did use the whole thing, but I ended up reaching for it more often when I wasn’t wearing makeup.

The Thayers Rose Petal Facial Toner is one of the Thayers toners I’ve used and liked.

I mainly use toner to give my skin some extra hydration and refresh it after cleansing, while helping remove any leftover makeup, dirt, or oil.

This one has a subtle rose scent that I enjoy. 🌹

One thing to know if you get the smaller size to travel with: the bottle can leak. I use silicone toiletry covers to help prevent spills, and I eventually transferred mine into a leakproof bottle for travel.

One of the acne products I keep on hand is the Up & Up 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment.

I mainly use this as a daytime spot treatment when a breakout pops up. I like being able to apply it just to the problem area instead of using it all over my face.

I apply it between my serum and moisturizer. If I use it at night, it’s usually when I’m not using an acne patch.

When I use it, I don't experience any skin irritation or dryness.

The Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser was actually the first Cetaphil cleanser I tried, and I immediately liked how gentle and hydrating it felt on my skin.

I use it more as a daytime cleanser, especially during the winter months when my skin tends to be more combination.

It contains hydrating glycerin, vitamin B5, and niacinamide, and leaves my skin feeling clean without feeling stripped.
