When I want to do a roller set or dry my hair without using a handheld dryer, this standing hooded hair dryer is what I use.

Got this Kobalt battery-powered mower from Lowes to maintain my yard.

I like that it has a bag to collect the grass clippings. The last time I cut my grass, I had to dump the bag three times. Mostly because I let my grass get a little high.

When Maybelline sent me their new Sensational Firework Mascara, I’ll be honest—I was skeptical. I’m not easily impressed by mascaras.

The first thing I noticed was the brush. It’s a true 360° design with flexible bristles that really coat every lash from root to tip. The brush spreads my lashes out and lifts them up without clumping.

After a few wears, I could tell my lashes looked more defined—and they still felt lightweight.

As a contact lens wearer, I’m happy to say there’s zero irritation.

I’ve been testing the washable, very black formula, and it hasn’t smudged or run, even when my eyes water or I sweat.

Overall, it’s definitely a budget-friendly mascara that delivers better than I expected.

Every time I’m about to blow-dry or flat-iron my hair I reach for the Mielle Mongongo Oil Thermal & Heat Protectant Spray. That’s because using a heat protectant when I use heat on my hair has become a nonnegotiable step in my relaxed hair routine.

Here’s what it does for me: ✔️ Offers intense heat defense so my strands aren’t getting fried every time I style ✔️ Helps eliminate frizz and adds shine ✔️ Speeds up dry time so my hair dries faster but still feels moisturized ✔️ Keeps me frizz-free even in humidity

How I use it:
1. After washing, I start with a water-based leave-in conditioner
2. Then I spray the Mielle heat protectant from roots to ends
3. Proceed with blow-drying or flat-ironing in sections

A few things to note:
* The bottle is only 4 oz, so it can go fast (especially for longer or thicker hair)
* It has a pleasant, slightly perfumed scent but is not overpowering in my experience
* It does include hydrolyzed wheat protein, which is pretty far down the ingredients list. Personally, I manage by balancing my other products with low/no protein

Even with its small size and those small caveats, this spray has totally transformed the way my relaxed hair handles heat styling. It’s soft, smoother, doesn’t frizz, and styling feels safer.

I recently upgraded my push mower. I previously had a 19” Kobalt battery mower. I upgraded to this 20” one. It’s bigger, easy, to maneuver, and has a bag so I can easily capture and discard of the grass clippings. Bonus because of the bag I have less stray grass clipping to sweep or blow from my sidewalk and driveway afterward.

Looking forward to using it more next yard cutting season.

When I do a blow out at home I don’t use a lot of products on my hair. It’s because I want to make sure my hair isn’t weighed down with product and can move.
