If I was to design a living room again, the number 1 thing I would do …is thrift all of my furniture pieces to save money💰! Who needs to buy new when there are so many great secondhand options out there! 🤷‍♀️ 1️⃣My sofa in my living room was originally from wayfair for $1400 and I got it on Facebook Marketplace for $800. 2️⃣The leather wingback chair was my grand mother’s. I cherish this piece. 3️⃣My channel back chair was a thrifted find. 4️⃣The wood bench came from a flea market. 5️⃣The wood coffee table was on Facebook Marketplace for $20. Budget-Friendly Decor Can Look Cheap👇‼️😱 While it’s possible to decorate on a budget, some argue that using cheap materials or cutting corners can result in a tacky or low-quality appearance. I am NOT one of these people that thinks budget friendly decorating looks cheap. I am always amazed when I hop on this app with how many talented creators share their genius thrifted finds, DIY project, and repurposing ideas. Decorating your home doesn’t have to break the bank! If you have a smaller budget, it will take some patience, resourcefulness, and hunting to find the deals and you may even fall in love with the process. The thrill of the hunt as I like to call it! My master bedroom was built on a small budget. It’s filled with inexpensive Amazon finds, secondhand finds, diy projects! It’s taken a bit longer for it to come together but I’m looking at the bigger picture. It’s not a race. What do you think? Do you like to take your time bringing a space together on a smaller budget?
