These first few days of 2018 have been a period of reflection and planning for me. I took time to really pray about my blog and just my daily life in general. If I’m being honest, I have a REALLY hard time letting go of control. I like things a certain way and if I am around chaos I get SO stressed out. I like neatness and order and everything scheduled out. . Needless to say my world has not been organized since Emery came along. My schedule has been all over the place and let’s not even talk about the hot mess situation that is my house 🙈 . I have found myself so frustrated and then feeling guilty about being frustrated... So, I decided these past few days to really pray for a heart change. I have prayed and reflected on a word I wanted to hold tight to for 2018 and this morning it came to me—— surrender. . You see to surrender to Jesus is to surrender EVERYTHING. I want to surrender my time, my energy and my heart to SERVE both Jesus and others. I want to truly put others, my friends and my family before my self and not get stressed out in the unplanned. . So, coming in 2018, I’ll be rebranding my blog to create a community, a support system, an inspiration and really spilling pieces of my heart and Journey with the Lord. I want to establish relationships, be authentic & tansparent and just be real on this platform. . So here’s to my first post of 2018..
