Friends when I say that I was envisioning our first Christmas (well all the Christmases really) in this little space I mean it! I even specifically discussed the spacing of the windows in the living room to achieve optimal Christmas tree placement with the guy that helped us frame the place 😂. There’s just something so magical about this space to me and it may not be the biggest fanciest thing on the planet, but it’s ours. It was always meant to feel like we are on a resort in Mexico, or the coast of Sicily… just in the middle of the woods and unfortunately without room service and a cleaning staff. I’ve heard people talk about “romanticizing” even the most mundane things in your life and you know what? I agree! Why not? We should be happy with the things we have. As adults we have to create our own magic. So… Yes I went a little crazy decorating the shedroom for Christmas… Also, yes that is a Christmas tree for my dogs by their little bed covered in Christmas Dog themed pillows 🤦🏼‍♀️(Speaking of which, Can someone please help me convince my husband that I NEED to buy my dogs the dog couch I’ve been eyeing for months?)
