1. This faux leather skirt. I’ve worn it once a week for the last six! I LOVE it. I really didn’t purchase much in the month of October and this one has been a pleasure to wear all month long. I get compliments every time I wear it. $35. Crazy, right?
2. I made this little discovery when my sweet tooth was out of control and I had nothing in the house. Medjool dates from Costco, natural almond butter in the center-where you take out the pit-and a sprinkle of maldon salt. It’s a flavor revelation!! You have to try it! Did I invent this? Is this already a thing??
3. This AirPod case. I prefer everything I own to be darling. Even functional pieces. Such a cute stocking stuffer! 🎁
4. This book. I’ll be honest. I didn’t get through one book in October. But I did get my beauty sleep so I consider it a win. However, I did read some of this beautiful cookbook. I love it and have learned a lot. Perfect gift 🎁 for established cooks or ones that are just starting out and need fundamentals. Do you still buy cookbooks?
5. This hair fragrance. Do you use hair fragrance? I am big on smells and this just smells, well, lovely. 🥰🥰

I am a flake. Well, I was one last week. The week got the better of me and all of my Halloween plans disappeared as fast as an untended bag of pumpkin Reese’s. By the way, why are the pumpkin shapes so good? Chocolate to peanut butter ratio? Peanut butter to chocolate ratio? I have soothed myself since March with chocolate and those blasted PopCorners and now all my pants look like Spanx leggings, so I must stay away from the Halloween candy. 😫🤐

It’s Halloween week on @astylishlifeco! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. It’s easy, low-maintenance, I love orange and I love black....you know, reasons like that. Plus, as a kid some of my favorite memories were Halloween parties in our little town’s gymnasium. Super scary is not my thing, but I do love just a bit of spooky and seeing the kids dressed up in their costumes. My goal is to one day live in a place with lots of trick or treaters. I never have, and now that my kids are older, I think it would be so much fun to pass out candy all night long! It’s the little things in life, right? I always find something in my day to look forward to and today it’s a bit of sweet little Halloween decor and the premiere of......the bachelorette. 👻 🌹 Anyone else doing these things today? My most asked about piece that I’ve ever put on the gram is this sweater. And I just so happen to have a little collage of me in it, because wearing it makes me feel fabulous! 😉 Seriously, I bought two sweaters last year. TWO. And really not much beyond that. As I’ve gotten older, the LESS I want MORE and the MORE I want QUALITY. Things I feel amazing in, things that feel good on my skin, and things that make me feel confident and very stylish. Things that will last and be pieces that I can cherish and love for years. This is one of those pieces. The shape is modern and flattering, the neckline is gorgeous, and the cashmere is perfect. Perfect weight, perfect softness, perfect coziness, and is showing no signs of wear after being on my person EVERY OTHER DAY since early last fall. I’ve been stalking their site for weeks now, hoping they would bring it back, and they have! It is NOT fast fashion, is NOT less than $40, and will NOT arrive on your doorstep by this afternoon. But if you are in the market for one amazing sweater you feel beautiful in this year instead of 5 meh sweaters, your stylist would recommend this one. When I purchased mine, the sizes were limited and when I went back to look again after I realized how great this piece was, the other color I wanted was sold out. Fair warning, darlings. 😊

This seemed like the perfect day to show you all of my favorite things from September since this week it feels like fall is really here!

1. This top has truly “topped” the list of my favorites this month. It is exceptional if you like a bit of a boho vibe, like me.
2. These throws. Super soft and look WAY more expensive than they are. Taste level is right up there.
3. This book. I loved this so much, I didn’t want it to end. If you haven’t read it yet and you love beautiful writing, stories, nature, this is for you! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
4. These utensils. Gorgeous wooden handles. Also look so expensive. Love them.
5. This oil. Looks expensive and IS expensive. 😬 I just started using it this month, it’s a retinol oil, but so far I feel like I wake up more glowey and lovely.
6. These carrots. Do you have a Trader Joe’s near you? Go pick these up today. No weird oils, but fabulous and beautiful carrots and herbs. Could I make them at home? Probably, but these are perfect and easy in a cast iron skillet at the end of a long day. Fall comfort vegetables. 🥕

I really wanted to feature this white ruffle top, that I’m wearing a few very basic ways, for #thriftythursday. A top like this is a closet staple for me, which means it will get a lot of wear and will pay for itself over and over again in versatility-I can create a cute outfit lickity split even on days when I have no style bandwidth left. Plus it’s a natural fiber, and those are the pieces I invest in. AND it’s currently on sale! BESIDES CREATING MY OWN PERSONAL MOIRA ROSE MOMENT, here are the other reasons I love it:

✔️it creates visual interest/draws the eye up, which is where I prefer all eyes to be drawn for my body shape
