An area rug can be an easy refresh on a budget, and it’s where you can have so much fun with patterns and color. @birchlane and I partnered together to bring the Alice Rug (8x10’) into this dining space and I couldn’t be happier with the coziness it brings to this room. English cottage-inspired muted hues of sage, navy blue and ochre are woven into this beautiful, 100% wool rug. It honestly doesn’t even need a rug pad, it is so thick and cushy with a ton of 5 star reviews! Safe to say I’m smitten 🥰

A few tips:

NIGHT BEFORE
• dry hair only
• use a lot of dry shampoo
• set with a jaw clip and put in the heatless curl!
• set with hairspray
• sleep!

THE NEXT DAY
• more dry shampoo on the crown • remove heatless curls and shake out!
• brush out for this softer look (that’s what I did).

I was really impressed at the GAP’s spring line! Lots of basics, staples, neutrals, linens, bright and bold colors, feminine frills and ruffles. Everything ran small, I’d definitely go up one (if not two) sizes for a more relaxed fit. I really liked their tops. The heavyweight quality of everything was very very very impressive to me!

estate sales and thrift shops are not my natural thing — it takes training and time to figure out how to learn discernment!! I was particularly proud of myself for “seeing” a planter in this beat up old wooden toolbox that was marked for $15 in someone’s Cape Cod garage! It was a great find. People kept saying “good pick!” as I walked by with it. It’s lightweight, hand cut, and the perfect little spring bulb planter 🪻🪻🪻

a cold winter night is the PERFECT time to do a full luxury at home spa night. it’s often very inexpensive but a little investment in something like a red light mask can make a real difference in a routine! anyway, here’s a breakdown of my simple (but really luxurious) spa night:

• start with a workout!!! I know it’s the LAST thing you wanna do after work but I promise, if you can fit it in, it will enhance the entire experience once you get home and wind down! you’ll feel amaaaazing 🫶🏻

• everything shower!! 🚿 a full head to toe experience (and no rush!) signals to your brain that you’re ready for a relaxing night ahead.

• red light mask / microcurrent (@ziipbeauty gave me a code for you all!!!) device is a great thing to do during an epsom salt foot bath! then it’s mani pedi time.
