I made a comment that open spaces are feeling too open lately on someone’s page and thousands of you agreed. The other side of this kitchen is another living room and a dining room and it feels so cozy having separation from this space. The kitchen has always been a space where families gather, and my intention behind modifying the layout of ours was so that our family can color, watch football, bake cookies, wash dishes and have conversations as the kids grow (and the new baby starts cruising) in a space that doesn’t create a traffic jam and where I can see my kids. Hang with us in stories as we renovate and brighten up this 2006 kitchen on a limited budget nights, weekends, and when our toddlers nap. cottage nancymeyers reno pnw
