Sweet Rosie girl, she had her tonsils and adenoids out and a repeat ABR (sedated hearing test) this morning. While the surgery went smoothly and we’re praying recovery goes the same, her hearing test results did show that her left ear has worsened. We’ll be adjusting her hearing aid programming to better fit her current hearing thresholds. While it was news we expected it still stings a little on my mama heart. If anyone local has info on ASL classes, in person or online, let me know!

What you might see is a stay at home with four kids just moving through the daily to do list but .. today’s reality was pulling up my daughters last brain MRI to hype up how cool it will be to get another picture of her brain this week. If you’re a parent dealing with multiple appointments and often see your child’s therapists more than you see your friends.. you’re seen, I see you. Because, I do, and I am right there with you. And it’s all done while trying to juggle your other kiddos, your job, your passions, your friends, your marriage. Life is HARD.
