Pantry before and after with @crowninggloryblog! Was the pantry bad before? Not at all. But Molly wanted a more streamlined space that was efficient and visually calming. We used a mix of clear containers, woven baskets and the CUTEST bamboo label clips - that just happen to match her new matching spice jar collection. 😍 Last but not least, bulky appliances that were seldom used found a new home. Which was great bc home girl has 4 bins of peanut butter that take priority. 🥜 👸🏼

💊 Medicine Cabinet Makeover. Because when you need this stuff, you definitely don’t want to dig for it. 😉

💡 A few quick tips that keep this space functional, sustainable and BEAUTIFUL.

• clear labeled bins allow you to quickly find what you need and put it back where it belongs.

• Taking certain medicine out of bulky packaging allows you to streamline storage.

• Categories: Here we grouped medications by type, while also creating a bin just for children’s meds — making it super easy for any caretaker to find. 👏🏼

✨ Never underestimate the power of organization. It instantly brings zen and happiness. Even opening an organized medicine cabinet can put a pep in our step!

👼🏼Welcome to Lazy Susan Heaven! 🙌🏼

The homeowners had tried several products in this spice cabinet that just weren’t working.

By removing a shelf and adding 4 turn tables, we were able to make the entire cabinet easily accessible functional, and best of all — Beautiful!! 🙏🏻

✌🏻 This cozy 1980’s kitchen came with not one, but two corner lazy susan cabinets. By adding wedged bins to each level it’s now a super functional space.

💁🏻‍♀️ And if a corner lazy cabinet needs anything more it’s two MORE lazy susans, right?

💊 Supplements are an important part of this family’s daily routine. By getting rid of the bulky packaging and decanting them into matching clear jars, we saved a lot of space and cut down on the visual clutter… plus, looks pretty cute. 😉

🖤 I’ve fallen in love with a lot of pantries, but I think this one takes the cake. Isn’t she gorgeous? We used a mix of materials, but took a lot of inspiration from the “Dark & Moody” board you might be familiar with.

• A mix of black wooden & metal baskets provide open storage while adding extra polish to the pantry. I love how they pop against the white shelves, while still tying in the pendants & backsplash.

• The bamboo stackable containers are amazing for little hands to quickly grab a snack. They’re easy to load and look great with the open shelving on the opposite wall.

• Finally, those gold labels. They are just so pretty and add a little glamour to the space. Bonus? They tie in beautifully to the gold hardware throughout their home.

🌪 Funnels make decanting a breeze. Most kits come with a little one.

🧂 You can buy kits that include jars + labels, or shop around and buy them separately for your own unique combo!

🧂 Label maker? Print a tiny date and stick it on the bottom.

🧂 Sharpie? Write it on and when it’s time to change it, remove it with a dry erase marker or nail polish remover.

🧂 Stickers. Some kits come with expiration date stickers you can write on and replace!

🥣 The perfect place to grab a quick snack or bowl of cereal. Personally, I’m partial to the Pop Tarts. Brown sugar cinnamon OR frosted 🍓 wins every time. It’s the 🌈 sprinkles for me.

💪🏼 These HARDWORKING Susans are some of the most used items for organization. I love them in a pantry, in a bathroom, under a sink, in my classroom...sprinkle those Susans everywhere!

🥫 These condiments used to be running wild on those shelves. Look at them now. Contained, easily assessable and looking pretty cute.

We all have spices, why not make them cute? I love this project because it’s so simple and makes a big visual impact for little time and money.

All you need:

* Clear glass spice jars
* Labels
* A funnel
* 30 minutes
* Longer if you’re chatting with your girlfriend the whole time. :)

This home came with this cute wall shelf already built in. In my own home I use a spice rack wall mount and find that works well, too! If you use a cabinet or pantry shelf, there are plenty of solutions for those spaces, too!

✨If kitchens are the heart of the home then pantries are the aorta 🫀 keeping that thing alive and pumping. How’s that for an analogy? 😂

🌟But truly. Pantries are IMPORTANT. Whether yours is a cabinet, a closet or a walk-in it can be organized, functional and beautiful. I mean, if everyone in your home has to be in and out of there all day why not make it a space you enjoy? 💁🏻‍♀️

🌟I like to keep food in clear containers for a number of reasons.

• It’s visually calming. 🧘🏻‍♀️
• It allows me to quickly see exactly what I have and how much I have of it. 👉🏼Nothing is hiding in a box or lost in a basket.
• My very favorite? It makes creating a grocery list 📝 a breeze! I can quickly scan the pantry and see what we’re out of, or needs to be replenished.

🌟 Baskets are definitely necessary to wrangle ingredients, odds and ends and backstock. However, for the stuff in regular use and rotation clear containers are a must have item. 🙌🏼

💗 Link in bio to see some of the exact products I used here. My advice is to start small and slowly add to your collection overtime. It can be a bit of a shock to see how expensive things can be, but if you start small and slowly build I promise you won’t be disappointed! These things last forever and hardly ever need to be replaced. The cost per use breaks down to pennies when you look at the big picture! 👏🏼
