Work is hard enough, let’s make sure that you’re in an enviornment that not only leads to productivity, but makes you feel good.

⏰ 15 minutes? Let’s go.

📦 Gather anything in a basket that doesn’t belong. Paper, dishes, magazines, old mail, old notes, bags — clear your workspace!

🪴 Leave only what belongs.A cute photo fram, maybe a plant, a spot for your coffee and maybe a notepad. I think a clear/minimal workspace is ideal — but do what works for you!

🎨 This craft room was truly a joy to complete and is a creative’s dream!

💪🏼 This project started with a complete emptying of the space, an intense decluttering session, followed by putting it all back together.

⭐️ The real star of the show? Bins that latch, lock and stack. Multi purpose bins for notepads and craft kits…and labels. Lots and lots of labels ensure items can be easily located and put BACK where they belong.

🧸Got kids? Got toys? Then my guess is you might have a toy problem. This cube systems is one of my favorite storage solutions for so many reasons.

1. They hold A LOT.
2. Small footprint - so it doesn’t take up a ton of space - leaving lots of room for play.
3. The Kallax system comes in multiple colors and the bin options are infinite out there. If it’s in a family space - go with solids, neutrals or woven materials. Is it in a playroom? So many fun prints and patterns! Just measure first. 📏
4. The price! $180 for the largest size. Can’t beat it.
5. It’s versatile. When your kids outgrow the need for 51,286 tiny small toys, use it as a bookcase, office storage or at the very least move it into your storage room or garage for added storage and organization. The possible are endless.

👜 Purse! Day 8 of the #aullorganizedchallenge

1. Grab your purse and dump the whole thing out. 💥

2. Separate everything into categories. 🗂

3. If you have small items to contain (makeup, masks, toiletries, mints, kid snacks, etc.) think about containing them into smaller pouches. Use what you have! Plastic baggies work in a pinch. 👛

4. Put back only what is USED and necessary. Wallet. Keys. Sunglasses. Lip Balm. 🕶

5. These pouches make switching purses a breeze. Just grab the ones you need! ✨

6. Throw away the trash, put back items you no longer need and pat yourself on the back. You did it! 🙌🏼

🤓Extra Credit! Do the same with your work bag. 👩🏼‍🏫

Car! Day 5 of the #aullorganizedchallenge

1. Got 15 minutes? Grab the trash bag!

2. Open all the doors and the trunk! Turn on the car and pump some 🎶 to keep you motivated. If the car is on make sure the garage is open, too. - we don’t need anyone passing out while organizing. 😉

3. 🗑 Throw away all the trash you can find. - don’t forget the trunk, glove compartment and center console.

4. Make a pile of things that need to go back inside. 👉🏼 Cups/Toys/Bags/Clothes etc.

5. Leave an 🌂 , ice scraper, reusable totes, blanket —the ESSENTIALS.

6. Still got momentum? Impressive. 🥳 Grab the vacuum and go to town! Oh, and wipe down those dusty surfaces. Not up to it? #treatyoself and take it to the fancy car wash and have them do it for you. 💃🏻

7. Take out the trash, put back items you no longer need and pat yourself on the back. You did it! 🏆

🧺 Don’t you love when all the laundry in your house is done? Those 5 min are pure bliss.

While I haven’t figured out how to STOP the laundry from constantly — seriously constantly — piling up, I have found solutions to make the space bring me joy.

A few months ago I added white *stick on* subway tile that I absolutely love. Cheap. No big commitment and totally transformed the space. I also invested in some quality organizational pieces (these matching baskets and wooden hangers) that make finding what I need easy peasy.

I find that when a space is pretty and organized, the tedious tasks of folding clothes is less ….dreadful. Another thing that really helps? A great audiobook or podcast. 🙌🏼

🎀 If there were various tiers of organizing, putting together this baby nursery would definitely be in the top. Tiny shoes, impossibly small onesies, diapers the size of the palm of your hand. Just the best. Loved completing this project for my dear friend and first time mama, Shallie!

🍼 The sheer amount of STUFF tiny humans come with can be incredibly overwhelming. I remember being days away from giving birth and holding back tears trying to fit all the onesies and sleep sacks in a drawer. Then bawling about not knowing what half of the stuff was even FOR. 😂 I can laugh about it now, but in the moment it was NOT funny.

🖊 If you’re new to organization, or simply want to do a project in 20 minutes or less the Junk Drawer is the space for you.

☝🏻But first, let’s give this drawer the respect if deserves - and rebrand it with The Essential Drawer. 💥

🟥 Step 1 - Take everything out. All. Of. It.

🟧 Step 2 - Make your categories! - batteries, chargers, pens, random toys, hair brushes, scissors. Take stock of what you have. 🕵🏼‍♀️

🟨 Step 3 - get rid of whatever is unused or broken. 🗑

🟩 Step 4 - divide the space with drawer dividers/organizers. It could be a matching system of perfectly fitting plastic containers. It could also be a cute, sturdy box that came with a gift or a set of greeting cards. Be resourceful! 💁🏻‍♀️

🟦Try your best to cover the entire drawer’s surface. This keeps tiny objects from being lost and containers from slip sliding away. 🤸‍♀️

🟪 Keep what you need! Even if it’s not “typical”.

Pantry before and after with @crowninggloryblog! Was the pantry bad before? Not at all. But Molly wanted a more streamlined space that was efficient and visually calming. We used a mix of clear containers, woven baskets and the CUTEST bamboo label clips - that just happen to match her new matching spice jar collection. 😍 Last but not least, bulky appliances that were seldom used found a new home. Which was great bc home girl has 4 bins of peanut butter that take priority. 🥜 👸🏼
