💊 Medicine Cabinet! Day 18 of the #aullorganizedchallenge. Got 20 minutes? Let’s go! 🏃🏻‍♀️

1. Have a 🗑 nearby. You might want some baggies and a Sharpie, too!

2. Empty the entire cabinet/container. You want to see everything you have.

3. Make your categories:

▪️Cold/Flu
▪️Tummy Troubles
▪️Allergies
▪️Pain Relief
▪️Kid Meds
▪️First Aid/Band-Aids

4. 👀 at expirations. Toss loose pills, or grab a baggie to contain foil pill packs that no longer have a box. (This also saves on space.)

5. Put everything back! You did it -- you ready for the next medical emergency.🙌🏼

6. Not loving your current storage situation? Lazy Susans are great to keep items upright.

🌟 Feeling like completing some extra credit? I’m a bad test taker, so I’m always up for it. LOL.

👀 Okay. Take a look at that hair accessory collection. Make your piles and eliminate anything unnecessary. Then group items by type.

- Hair ties
- Clips
- Bobby pins
- Head bands
- Scrunchies

Put back only what is USED and LOVED!

💥 Boom. Done. Happier hair days are on the horizon! :)

🧺 Towels! Day 11 of the #aullorganizedchallenge.

💪🏼 Today we’re tackling our towel situation.

I don’t know about you, but linens are hardly top of mind when it comes to organizing and decluttering — which means - we often don’t realize how much we have and aren’t using.

1. Gather the towels!

2. Quickly take out anything ripped, stained, or that no one in the family avoids like the plague.

3. Only put back the towels that are being regularly used and loved.

4. Storing on a shelf? - fold them! In a basket? I recommend rolling them. Need ideas? Highly recommend @thefoldinglady for some mesmerizing folding techniques.

5. PLEASE DO NOT THROW THEM AWAY.

• Unless they are severely damaged there are so many animal shelters who would happily accept your used towels. Those precious pups and kitties would much rather cuddle on your old linens than a bare cage or concrete floor. 🐶 🐱

Makeup! Day 5️⃣ of the #aullorganizedchallenge

1. Grab a trash can and head to your makeup collection.

2. Look at expirations. See that tiny number on what looks like a little jar? It will say something like 6M or 12M. That’s 6 months or 12 months. Can’t remember when you purchased it? Chances are it’s time to say bye-bye. 👋🏻

3. Categories. You can do this multiple ways. It’s personal preference. By type — foundations/blushes/mascara, or by daily use vs special occasion.

💁🏻‍♀️Personally, I like my daily routines streamlined and that means less choices and less digging. I do everyday makeup in my drawer and special occasion makeup stored elsewhere. Do what works for you!

5. Put back what you use and what you love.

6. Drawer dividers? Makeup Bag? Pick a storage solution that works for you. 💕

7. Wipe down compacts, take out the trash. Your makeup routine just got a lot easier! 🙌🏼

💪🏼 I’ve been trying hard to catch up on last month’s #aullorganizedchallenge. I’ve been setting aside 20-30 minutes every day this week trying to check ☝🏻 thing off my list. Yesterday was the laundry room cabinet.

💡When I say these projects take 20-30 min, I mean it. Don’t get overwhelmed with the big picture. Just break it down into small parts and don’t get distracted!

✅ 1. Take it all out.

✅ 2. Categories! (what you need + what you don’t)

✅ 3. Put it back. Side note: it’s not necessary, but it’s ALWAYS more fun if you have a new product or two to include 😉
