🧺 Don’t you love when all the laundry in your house is done? Those 5 min are pure bliss.

While I haven’t figured out how to STOP the laundry from constantly — seriously constantly — piling up, I have found solutions to make the space bring me joy.

A few months ago I added white *stick on* subway tile that I absolutely love. Cheap. No big commitment and totally transformed the space. I also invested in some quality organizational pieces (these matching baskets and wooden hangers) that make finding what I need easy peasy.

I find that when a space is pretty and organized, the tedious tasks of folding clothes is less ….dreadful. Another thing that really helps? A great audiobook or podcast. 🙌🏼

🧺 Linen Closet Makeover! While the baskets, bins and labels are wonderful…Walter really ties the look together, don’t you think?

🤍 A mix of clear bins, woven baskets and white labels keeps this small closet organized, functional and so pretty. Linens on one side, medicine cabinet on the other. Every item and category now has a home. Even Walter has his own bin for his ear drops. 🥰

Keeping brooms/mops and other cleaning tools in a closet drives me insane. They’re always getting tangled in coats, lost in dark corners or simply forgotten. 😢

🧼 I’m telling you guys. These XL Brightroom lazy susans from @target are IT. They spin like a dream, 15” wide and perfect for corralling big, bulky products. Best part? TEN DOLLARS. 🔈I repeat. $10. Run. 🏃🏻‍♀️

💪🏼 I’ve been trying hard to catch up on last month’s #aullorganizedchallenge. I’ve been setting aside 20-30 minutes every day this week trying to check ☝🏻 thing off my list. Yesterday was the laundry room cabinet.

💡When I say these projects take 20-30 min, I mean it. Don’t get overwhelmed with the big picture. Just break it down into small parts and don’t get distracted!

✅ 1. Take it all out.

✅ 2. Categories! (what you need + what you don’t)

✅ 3. Put it back. Side note: it’s not necessary, but it’s ALWAYS more fun if you have a new product or two to include 😉

🧺 A laundry room glow up! If you were around last week, you saw the journey. I started with boho shapes, then to a hexagon tile that ended up looking like a tribute to Ted Lasso ⚽️. Then FINALLY ended up exactly where I originally intended to be: classic subway.

🤍 Similar to my dating history, sometimes we have to get through a few jerks to find true love.

💡I ended up finding this tile at Hobby Lobby. If you’re interested, I’ve linked a few similar options in today’s stories. I love how it completely brightened up this dark corner, is waterproof and didn’t break the bank. This entire thing was less than $50 and took me less than an hour to install.
